Do you ever feel like you’re the only one going through menopause? The following stories are from Red Hot Mamas website readers and members. Scroll through these “menopause tales” and see how other women view and manage their bodies as they experience the change.
My experiences with menopause started when I turned 43, While I was working at the shirt factory I could feel those hot flashes creeping up my back and down my arms and I would ask my boss to please turn the fan on me. I took hormone pills until I turned 55 my Dr. took me off of them because they said they caused cancer and heart problems. I do have heart problems, as well as a few other health problems. I still have hot flashes especially at night. I'll be freezing one minute and the next minute I'll be burning up. I drink a lot of ice water it helps.
