It’s that time of year again, everyone! During the entire month of September, the Red Hot Mamas will come together to celebrate Menopause Awareness Month. It is time to honor our health, reflect on our lives and most importantly, have fun. There are over 477 million* of us worldwide who are going through post-menopause; so we might as well get together and make the most of this time.

It is a powerful and meaningful stage in a woman’s life. Let’s take charge and make it a positive journey together. The power of women supporting one another comes through in our programs and our website. These are the vehicles we have chosen to share our experiences, kinship, humor, frustrations and truly establish a real intimacy.

Take good care of yourself and expand your knowledge as you navigate through the change. Make the most of Menopause Awareness Month and “warm up to menopause” with these four important tips:

Four Steps to “Warm Up to Menopause”

  1. Look at menopause in a positive light and make it a meaningful time.
  2. Take action by focusing on pursuing healthy behaviors.
  3. Talk to your health care provider about all aspects of menopause and long-term health concerns.
  4. Make sure you have information on the latest facts about menopause; current medical findings, information on ways to manage your symptoms and information on treatment options. Learn how to make your own decisions on how you want to manage YOUR menopause.

Whether you are preparing for your menopause journey, struggling with a particular symptom or interested in learning about different treatment options, this is your place. Please take your time to browse through our informative articles and other useful tools for guiding you through the menopause transition. We will help you every step of the way.

The Red Hot Mamas Menopause Education Programs are helping to improve the outlook of women by providing them with free, monthly programs. Thousands of women are attending these programs and we welcome each and every one of you to attend a program in your area. Many of our members are healthy and happy as a result of becoming informed.
