Dear Red Hot Mamas,
Thank you for all the help you provide to women. I would like to make the most out of my visit with my doctor. Can you make some suggestions make my visit more effective? I always seem to bewildered when I get there. Please advise.
Carly
Dear Carly,
First thing is to make a list of your questions before your visit. And, leave some space to write down answers while you are talking to your doctor. And, certainly hold onto that list as part of your records. Some subjects you may want to discuss are: helping you figure out where you are on the menopausal roadmap; understanding your symptoms, outlining your healthcare options to include exercise, diet, weight control; and how to deal with your bones, cardiovascular system, sex life and mental and emotional outlook at menopause. It will also be important for you to review your options in treating your symptoms – weighing the benefits and risks of all treatment options. And also discussing any medical tests which you need to have at menopause.
We thank you for writing to us. Hope this information is helpful to you.
