“Meeting and Greeting Menopause…Unraveling the Mystery” will be presented by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Obstetrician/Gynecologist Rachel Cady, M.D., as a free virtual women’s health seminar on Thursday, April 7, beginning at 5 p.m. Register to receive a link to free seminar at https://form.jotform.com/220186072057148
In the Red Hot Mamas Menopause Management Education Program, women will learn that just as menstruation and pregnancy are a natural part of a woman’s life, so is menopause. According to Dr. Cady, at about the age of 45 women start wondering about menopause. At this time, they may also be starting to experience symptoms which they know nothing about. This program will help women to understand what to expect when menopause arrives and how to manage its course.
Dr. Cady explains, “Menopause is a normal phase of a woman’s life. However, it is a transition for which women receive little preparation. That’s why it is important for me to provide women with the necessary information and arm them with knowledge so they can eliminate any unnecessary fears about menopause. I’ll discuss what happens biologically during menopause; menopausal symptoms; the management of symptoms; and what women can do to take care of their health at menopause. I want to help women face this transition with confidence.”
