Dear Red Hot Mamas

As the holiday season approaches and we bid farewell to 2023, I find myself filled with gratitude and a profound sense of pride. This December not only marks the culmination of a year filled with shared moments: it’s also a poignant reminder that we have had the incredible honor of sharing menopause information and support with you now for over 30+ years.

Yes, it’s been 30+ years of what I have found to be lasting friendships with women and their loved ones, as well as with healthcare professionals —this milestone is a testament to the enduring spirit and dedication of our Red Hot Mamas staff and all of the clinicians that are associated with us. These clinicians, who are our medical experts, have always made themselves readily available to you. They’ve responded to thousands of your questions when you have written to us and have spoken at Red Hot Mamas programs providing education about a variety of pertinent menopause topics.

Reflecting on the past three decades, it’s impossible not to marvel at the rich tapestry of experiences we’ve woven together through Red Hot Mamas. For many women our programs, our website www.redhotmamas.org and e-newsletter “The Menopause Minute” have been very beneficial for them. And our community forum has been a helpful sanctuary for those seeking peer support. Women have been able to pool their knowledge and share experiences to help one another.

I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to each one of you for your continued support of Red Hot Mamas throughout the years. As we look ahead to the coming year, I am confident that we will continue to create lasting memories together.

In the true spirit of the season, I wish you all a joyous holiday filled with love, laughter, and the company of those who hold a special place in your hearts.

Good Health to You All,

Karen Giblin
