Menopausal Medicine is an Integration of Sciences to Care for the Whole Person

One of our Red Hot Mamas® Advisory Board Doctor’s has shared his synopsis of the NAMS Annual Meeting. We are please to share that with you now…

NAMS program this year made crystal clear what Menopause Practitioners have long known:
Menopausal Medicine is an integration of equal parts gynecology, endocrinology, cardiology, lipidology, psychology, psychiatry, dermatology, sociology, herbology, statistics, sleep physiology, urology, sexology, bonedensiometry, lifestyle(!) and humility.

This year’s program, in addition to the usual cutting-edge research, touched on all of these and truly helped educate those of us who gratefully care for the WHOLE PERSON- and the whole family unit- through and beyond midlife. I cannot pick a “favorite,” as to do so would to some degree diminish other so-fine presentations.  The whole person/the whole meeting.  Hurrah!
